The most valuable features of device are dual sensors. The best device for dogs as small dogs 5 pounds as for dogs under 12 pounds. The unit has 10 levels of control it helps you to find out what kind of level of correction is the most effective. 

Bark sensors

The PetSafe Little Dog Bark Control collar has a sound sensor and a vibration sensor. The sound of a bark is controlled by the microphone into the device and a vibration sensor control a vibration of a bark in the dog’s throat. Dual control allows ignore false alarm, as a bark of other dogs or other external sounds. The first small disadvantage is there is not tool for testing, so you should keep in eye on a red light indicator it shows you that collar is triggered. 

Levels of correction

The smart control system automatically detects the level of correction, increasing or reducing the level to find the most effective way to deter your dog from barking. The learning mode works correctly, but I would have liked to control levels manually too.

The second disadvantage is the red light indicator accompanying without any sound or tone when the collar is triggered. I would have liked not only to see a red light, but hear a beep to identify the efficiency of the collar.

A lifetime of the battery is approximately 2 months and it costs 10 $. A lifetime of the battery depends on the duration of use. The battery works longer if you switch off it when you don’t need to use the collar.

The total price increase every 2-3 months on 10$, it is the third disadvantage of the device. If the device has own rechargeable battery that it would be more convenient and cheaper.

The collar does not have manual override option, but the learning mode has the smart control system to deter a dog from barking. The significant feature of the collar which I prefer to change is the non-rechargeable battery.
